Zengo's biometric security (3D Facelock) combines both strict privacy and strong security.

Our recovery system accurately verifies both signs of likeness and liveness so that it is it cannot be spoofed by either a picture, a video, or a deep fake and is even secure against 3D masks (more here ).

The secure technology, used by major services and battle-tested over millions of users, is backed by a $600,000 security bounty program, which has been tried over 130 000 times without any successful attempts.

Zengo also only stores their customer's anonymous biometric information as an encrypted 3D face map that is both unidentifiable and unusable as such, except to the customer. In itself this face map is useless and can only be used with the other 2 factors of security to recover an account (email, recovery kit file)

That way, unlike traditional crypto wallets, only our customers (not even us) can restore their own accounts, and their information always remains private. ย

You can read more about Zengo's biometric security here.

ps: note that if you have an identical twin both Apple, Google do not recommend you use biometrics security (although even a perfect twin would not gain access to your Zengo account with the biometrics alone, as they would also need your email and recovery kit file)
