5. How to Send a Transaction Securely with Zengo Business
A transaction must start on the desktop and is approved and signed via the Zengo Business Mobile App with the following steps:
A Controller (or an Approver) initiates the transaction via the desktop interface and can optionally include a transaction note.
One or two Approvers and/or the Admin are notified to review and approve the transaction (depending on the rules set by the Admin).
If your organization requires only one Approver:
The Approver or Admin approves the transaction on the desktop.
This action triggers a mobile push notification. Go to the Zengo Business Mobile App to sign the transaction.
If your organization requires multiple Approvers:
Any Approver or Admin can approve the transaction on the desktop.
The final Approver must sign in to the Zengo Business Mobile App.
All transactions appear in the pending transactions tab and generate email notifications.
Important:
To sign transactions, push notifications must be enabled and “Do Not Disturb” mode must be off. Chrome extensions like ad blockers or VPNs may interfere with Zengo Business and should be disabled.

9. What Is the Zengo Business App?
The Zengo Business app is only used to approve transactions. It is exclusively for Approvers and Admins.
For extra security, permission to use the app is only granted by the Zengo Business Administrator.
How to add an Approver to the Zengo Business App (for Admins):
Part 1: Assign a new Approver
In “Settings,” add a new user as “Approver” or reassign a current user with that role.
Once the new Approver logs into their Zengo Business account, proceed with Mobile App setup.
Part 2: Download the Mobile App and Authenticate
Admin contacts Zengo Business Support for the app download link.
Approver downloads the app and logs in using the same email address used in Zengo Business.
Admin approves the request in “App Access” under “Settings.”
Part 3: Sharing the Recovery File
Admin shares the organization’s Recovery File from their cloud drive with the new Approver.
The approver selects the Recovery File when prompted by the mobile app.
This is a one-time setup. Notifications must be enabled for transaction approval to work.
10. How Recovery Works and What’s Important to Know
Zengo Business wallets are backed up using your organization’s Google Drive. Only Admins and Approvers can recover access to the Zengo Business Mobile App.
To recover:
Download the Zengo app on your mobile device
Log in with the same Google Workspace account used to create the wallet
Confirm your email by clicking the magic link in your inbox
The app will automatically sync with the Recovery File in your organization’s Google Drive.
